Five riders made it to Flapjacks in Tres Pinos as the scheduled restarurant, Cozy Cup in Hollister, isn’t open. Last week Chris reported some kind of construction at the site. Pictures are from Jag and Todd.
5 for breakfast
After breakfast
More bikes
Still coldish
I’m going that way
Todd’s K75
After breakfast Tom was going to head down SR 25 and Carl would follow… for a while at least.
I led Todd and Jag down 25 to Cienega, Union, 156, 101, G11, then thru Aromas to pick up 129 to get to the coast. We road up the coast under mostly blue sky until Gazos Creek, Cloverdale, and eventually Pescadero Creek.
We stopped at Loma Mar, but it was lunchtime on the last Sunday of the month which meant a very large crowd of bikes and sports cars. Instead of waiting in line forever for a coffee we continued up a very slippery Pescadero Creek with Jag leading. Todd and I lost Jag when Todd pulled over to check the status of his top case. It had already popped open once.
We went North on Skyline. Todd turned off at Kings Mountain. I kept going until 92 to get home.
Somewhere around 200 miles for me, maybe a bit more.

25 and Los Gatos Creek Rd
Even though cold at breakfast, the ride down Hwy 25 turned beautiful a few miles south of Flapjacks. Tom and I rode together and took a break at 25 and Los Gatos Creek Road. Years ago you took a picture of me riding my red Ducati ST4s coming down the same hill.
