Daylight Saving time means getting up in the dark. It also means a lower turnout for breakfast. That was good news for Chris and Harry, the birthday boys who picked up the check for breakfast. Still, the other members present complained – the consensus was one of the birthday boys should buy breakfast this week and the other next week. None of this splitting the check stuff. Alas, the birthday boys were deaf to our complaints.
Thanks Chris and Harry.

Photo break
After breakfast I rode around Lexington reservoir and discovered that Aldercroft Heights road dead ends at a private driveway a litle past Los Gatos Creek. I think that is the creek in the above pictures. I doubled back and took Old Santa Cruz Highway to Summit, Skyline, and Alices.

While I was snapping pictures of a fire hydrants, a bridge, and my bike WWWobble was stopping at the highway 9 overlook just down from the 9/35 junction to take this picture. His comment: Damn, it was cold off the bike that side of 9 taking that picture. Perhaps he needs a longer cord for his heated gear.
