After breakfast at the Country Inn some rode 9 and 35 to the obligatory stop at Alices… actually in the parking lot of the Skywood Trading Post. Because Skywood Trading Post (& Deli) is too long to type I’m going to what many others do and abreviate it to STP.
At STP we met Poul on his recently purchased and not quite yet licensed Nimbus. He said it’s a 1960 model made up of leftover parts after they stopped production in 1959. I think I got that right. With a top speed of about 55 MPH he said he won’t be riding it to breakfast unless he can take back roads. He hopes to take it to Duarte’s next month.
