Our after breakfast ride yesterday led us (WWWobble, Martin, myself) from Watsonville to Anzar Rd through Aromas over to Elkhorn Slough (Bob can hopefully add to my rough description). From there we took Studebaker (because WWWobble likes the name; one of these days I’d like to try Hidden Vally Rd) over to 101 to Hollister where we did a nice loop on Cienega around the Hollister Hills OHV area.

Thanks to Major WWWobble for leading us through a very nice ride on Sunday. I happened to have tracked the trip on my cellphone – here’s the link https://track.gs/kQbRnv for all to marvel at. Of note is how Marcus took his photos: Steering with one hand and photographing forward and backward with the other, all the while managing curves and turns like a boss. (I needed both hands, feet, butt etc). Greatest surprise to me was a stop around noon in Hollister, not just for gas but for MCDONALDS! Bob and Marcus claimed that they only had coffee but I suspect different. As my metabolism was still trying to get to grips with the monumental Huevos Rancheros from just a few hours earlier, I stayed outside and noticed a very nice, apparently home-made camper trailer towed by a Honda Element (!). Inside were bunk beds. A young family of three was traveling with it. All in all a very nice Fathers Day!
