Late Saturday evening I saw the weather forcast for Sunday morning: below freezing with a probability of black ice. I sent a message to Carl noting that I was going to miss the ride. Carl apparently came to the same conclusion, later sending out a message stating “Black Ice - Be Smart, Stay Home”.

Not all of us are smart. Three riders and one four wheeled friend had breakfast at Dino’s despite the nippy below 30 degree temperatures and celebrated Jerry’s birthday. Happy 29th, Jerry!
