Eleven riders met for breakfast at the Two Bird Cafe. The main group of 5 riders from Burlingame were the last to arrive. It was clear, but cold on Lucas Valley Road with temperatures dipping into the upper 30s. Three cheers for heated gear and heated grips.
After breakfast Jerry, John, and Dick followed Marc as he got lost in Fairfax looking for the Fairfox-Bolinas Road. Once the road was (eventually) found it was ridden to the top where the group turned off onto Ridgecrest where the following pictures were taken of the Bolinas Lagoon and the Farallon islands.

The route map shows that we didn’t take the normal route to the Golden Gate Bridge in the morning. Marc thought that the road through the park was going to be closed. Turns out it was open until 9 AM. No matter, Carl led the group down Franklin where every single traffic light was green until we hit Lombard. Nice!
