On the way to breakfast
No Traffic
Not much traffic on the way to breakfast at the Los Gatos Cafe. It’s hard to tell but Ben is riding behind me in the first picture.
What’s that?
Confused?
Alberto was asking about my camera. Alas, I found out looking up info to answer his questions that the it is no longer manufactured. The company was bought out by another company which doesn’t do hardware. They promise the existing apps will be maintained through 2021. After that who knows how long the software will work.
Both of these frames were taken from a single 360° snapshot. I “panned” around the image to get the two points of view.
Grumble
My bike has not been handling as well as I like in the twisties. It takes more effort to start a turn and I need to keep pressure on the bars to keep the bike leaned over. It didn’t used to be that way. The picture may explain why.
That is the stock rear tire. It is an Avon AV54, a dual compound tire. The center part is flat. I can feel the corners where the center meets the side with my fingers. That is probably the transition point between the two compounds. I don’t like corners on tires. This will have to be replaced which is sad as at a bit less than 5000 miles it has lots of tread left.
