The discussion Saturday evening was breakfast in camp or breakfast on the road. Since it is Sunday and we are the Sunday Morning Breakfast Club we decided to have breakfast on the road. We broke camp in between sips of coffee (for those who drink coffee) and loaded up the bikes. Breakfast was at the Woodrose cafe in Garberville, about 30 miles south. And a good breakfast it was.
After breakfast we hopped on 101 and came straight home with a gas stop in Cloverdale. We were back in the bay area (with its cooler weather and much more traffic) by 3 PM. Total mileage for the trip was 600~650 miles depending upon your starting point. The trip may have been shorter than many, but it still had lots of time-on-bike given that for much of Saturday’s ride we were going 20 MPH or less.
